To Telenor Arena October 9th 2020

Ever since The Weeknd in 2015 visited Oslo for the first time with an exclusive concert at the Vulkan arena, we have loved the critically acclaimed artist. In 2017 he filled the Oslo Spektrum and now it is Telenor Arena's turn when The Weeknd has confirmed that he is adding Norway to the Europe tour on October 9th* 2021 with The After Hours Tour.

Music plays an important role in the difficult time we are in. For us at Live Nation, it is good to look ahead, be able to share news far in the future, and not least listen and dance to the album that The Weeknd delivered last Friday. And if we believe the streaming numbers, many people share our excitement and look forward to coming back together, says Martin Nielsen of Live Nation.

The Weeknd to Telenor Arena November 6th 2020

A great pop sensation
The Weeknd
quickly became a pop sensation. He has succeeded extensively in mixing a variety of genres with his melancholic style, "great" productions and occasionally noisy beats. A formula that has resulted in a great numner of world hits.

On March 7th this year, The Weeknd was guest on Saturday Night Live, ahead of his new album, After Hours. The performance of the song Blinding Lights gives a wonderful taste of the artist's live expression. The Weeknd has now released hid worldwide tour The After Hours Tour, which is scheduled to start in June 2020. On the After Hours Tour, the artist will bring state-of-the-art LED and video production and one of the most innovative stage productions made for arena concerts.

We need to look ahead, have something to enjoy and we need artists like The Weeknd. Artists delivering world-class songs, albums and concert experiences. On November 6th we will again sing and dance together.
