QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT ANNOUNCE CONCERT AT THE TELENOR ARENA 17th OF JUNE 2018
Following a phenomenally successful 25 date tour of Europe and the UK last year, Queen + Adam Lambert have made a surprise announcement that the band is to play a further twelve shows in Europe this summer, stopping at The Telenor Arena on Sunday 17th of June 2018.
Explaining the announcement, Brian May says: “The almost unanimous reaction to our last round of dates in Europe was this is absolutely the best production we’ve ever mounted. There has been a great demand for us to go back and cover the cities we missed! So, while we're still physically able to perform at those high energy levels on this massive scale, we thought…‘YES! One more around the block! It’s live, it’s dangerous, and it takes every ounce of fitness we can muster. But it’s still fun!”
Queen + Adam Lambert present a spectacular show with modern stage production, put together by a handful of the world’s most creative talents, such as design and production head Ric Lipson (Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones and U2). The show was created for last year’s 40th anniversary of the critically acclaimed and best-selling album “News of the World” from 1977, which includes the hits “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions”.
Since the legendary band and Adam shared a stage for the first time in 2009 during the American Idol finale, they embarked on an incredibly successful partnership and have played over 130 shows the world over. The band includes Brian May, Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert on vocals as well as Spire Edney (keyboard), Neil Fairclough (bass), and Tyler Warrne (percussion).
Adam Lambert: "I enjoyed every second of the recent European tour and really felt the love in every city. I can’t wait for us to get back there again in the spring!"
Queen + Adam Lambert have received rave reviews for their phenomenal show, so you do not want to miss this exclusive opportunity to experience all of your favorite hits from one of the most popular bands throughout the ages live at The Telenor Arena on the 17th of June 2018!
