Event Rules

Admission to events

To gain access to events at Telenor Arena, you must have a valid ticket.

We recommend that tickets are purchased through the official ticket companies belonging to the organizer or Telenor Arena. Telenor Arena strongly recommend not to buy from black market sellers, such as Viagogo, online ticket shop or private individuals you do not know. Purchases from such places can mean that you do not receive tickets or get fake tickets that do not give access to the event. These companies also violate Norwegain regulations and law.

Telenor Arena does not refund or compensate guests who are denied entry due to tickets purchased through unofficial channels.

Age Limit

There is no lower age limit for events unless otherwise stated in the ticket terms.

Please note that children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult

Security check

A security check is performed to ensure your and other guests' safety during events. A personal visitation, inspection of clothes, bags and other items can be carried out. The check is performed according to the security level set for the event in question.

The check can be performed using body search and metal detectors. In addition, spot checks can be carried out during events if our security personnel consider this necessary.

The following items are not allowed to be brought to events at Telenor Arena.

At some events, other bans may be made by the organizer. This will then be informed about specifically for the individual event. These exceptions then come in addition to the points below. In cases where the arena's and the organizer's regulations do not match, it is the organizer's regulations that apply.

  • Animals, with the exception of guide dogs
  • Posters, banners and other objects with inappropriate language, political, religious or commercial message or degrading characterization of persons and organizations
Seizure of prohibited items

You are responsible for not bringing items that are in violation of the event regulations. In cases where items that are not allowed are brought, this can be stored at the security checkpoint. Please note that this is done at the owner's own risk and responsibility. Telenor Arena does not take responsibility for loss or damage to objects that are handed in for storage.

Expulsion from event

You may be expelled or denied access to the event if you:

  • Refuses to leave prohibited items in the security checkpoint
  • Refuses to let our security personnel carry out a security check
  • Negatively affects the experience of other visitors
  • Disrupts or affects the conduct of the event
  • Causes damage to persons or property
  • Is obviously under the influence of drugs
  • Buys / survives alcohol for minors
  • Standing on a seat or in an escape route
  • Smokes indoors, including e-cigarettes
  • You enter forbidden areas such as (but not limited to) technical zones, changing rooms, the stage or the like.
  • Violates Norwegian law, current arrest regulations or ticket conditions.

In order to ensure the safety and security of all visitors, we reserve the right to expel and deny access to the arena, if you object or violate the terms of the arena and / or the event. Deported persons are not entitled to a refund of ticket expenses.Violation of these terms may also result in a report to the police.

Emergency situations

In case of emergency situations, notification will be given of the arena's loudspeaker system. Leave the arena at the nearest emergency exit and follow the instructions given by the arena's personnel and personnel from the emergency services.

Loud noise

Prolonged exposure to loud noise can cause hearing damage. There are earplugs available from all our outlets and our own staff who sell higher quality earplugs.

Leave the area during the event

It is not allowed to leave the event and return. Your ticket is then invalid unless otherwise specified in the ticket terms.

Access to the arena before the doors open

It is not possible to access the arena before the doors open. It is the organizer who decides the time when the doors open.

Do the doors close during the event?

For some specific events, and at the request of the production / artist, it may not be permitted for the audience arriving late to the start of the event to be admitted until there is a natural break or break. You will not receive a refund if you miss parts of the event due to late arrival.

Telenor Arena is in Fornebu, just a short distance from downtown Oslo. The arena is also a short distance from Lysaker Stasjon, which is a hub for public transport.

How do I get to Telenor Arena?

We encourage everyone to choose public transportation to Telenor Arena. There is an excellent public transit system out to the arena. For specific routes and travel times, visit www.ruter.no.

It is also only a 15 minute walk from Lysaker station, a central hub for both bus, train and the airport train. If you still want to drive there are parking facilities both at Telenor Arena and the nearby area.

On most events there is a shuttlebuss service to the arena from Oslo city centre. Vsit the specific event to find more information.

Public Transit

We strongly recommend using public transportation to Telenor Arena. A wide range of routes will take you quickly to the arena. The closest stop to the arena is Fornebuporten. During major events, this stop will be closed approximately 1 hour before the doors open. Please use the Telenor Fornebu stop instead. Check www.ruter.no for detailed schedule information.

Shuttle buses

Telenor Arena provides shuttle busses which continuously operate between Oslo and the arena when required before and after an event. Schedules and bus stops are announced and updated on Telenor Arena’s Facebook page and website approximately one week before the event.

Is it possible to park close to Telenor Arena?

We recommend using public transportation to get to Telenor Arena. If, however, you still want to drive, there are parking facilities available close to the arena. At most events in Telenor Arena will be parking right across the road from the arena. It is also possible to park in the parking garage at Fornebuporten and IT Fornebu. Follow the signs for “P-mot betaling”.

Tickets

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are usually available through www.ticketmaster.no. Links to purchase tickets can be found on our website under each event. If you want to order by phone, please contact Ticketmaster’s ticket office at tel +47 22 82 81 97 or +47 815 33 133. On most events tickets will also be availiable at the box office at the arena on the day of the event. 

Premium tickets are available through www.universe.com. Links to Premium tickets can be found on our website under each event.

We strongly recommend buying tickets through official outlets as there are unfortunately often fake / invalid tickets on the market. Fake / invalid tickets will always be rejected at the door.

Warning against the black market
We recommend that you purchase tickets through the official ticket companies of the organizer or Telenor Arena. Telenor Arena follows the The Consumer Ombudsmann (OC) strong recommendation by warning to buy tickets from Viagogo or other ticket companies operating on the black market, as the danger is high to get fooled to pay way too much, you may risk not getting your tickets or not getting in at the evemt. These companies also violate the Norwegian Black Market Law.

We also advise everyone to pay special attention on Social Media and not to follow / like other events for concerts and events other than event set up by the official organizer, venue or artist. Several of the unofficial events are created and operated by black market companies such as Viagogo and other companies promoting illegal sale of tickets. Examples of events to be avoided are those created by Europe Top Events and Things to do in Oslo.

Age limits

Our events generally do not have an age limit. In those situations where the organizer/promoter decides to set an age limit, details will be written on your ticket and on our homepage.

Although there usually is no age limit on the events, children under the age of 15 have to be accompanied by an adult.

 

Do I have to print out my tickets?

As long as you have a working smart phone, it is not necessary to print out your tickets.

If you are having trouble with your tickets, you can go to the box office at the arena so you can get help printing out your tickets. 

Why should I not publish pictures of my ticket on social media?

By publishing a picture of your ticket where the bar code is visible, there is a risk that someone else uses your ticket to gain entry to the arena. The bar code can only be used on one occasion and if it has already been used by the time you arrive, you will not be allowed access to the arena. 

Do I have to go to the entrance printed on my ticket?

Everyone must use the entrance that is printed on the ticket. If you are attending an event with friends who have a different entrance on the ticket, you must each use your entrance and meet on the inside of the arena.

Can I leave the arena during an event and come back later?

It is not allowed to leave the arena during the event and then come back later. Your ticket will then be invalid if other terms are not specified on your ticket.

What if I arrive late to the event?

Normally the doors do not close during an event, but for some specific events, and by request from production/artist, audience arriving late are not allowed entrance until there is a natural break during the event. If missing an event due to late arrival, tickets are non-refundable. 

I have lost my ticket, what can I do?

Can I sell my ticket?

Yes you can, but you are not allowed to sell the ticket for a higher price than printed on the ticket.

Note! You can not sell tickets on the official event on Facebook. Posts with tickets for sale will be deleted.

The event I want is sold out. Will there be more tickets left?

It is the organizer/promoter for each event that decides how many tickets to be put out for sale. Please contact the appropriate organizer for more information about ticket sales and audience capacity.

What happens if an event is postponed or cancelled?

If an event is postponed or cancelled, you will receive information from the promotor. If you do not receive information you can contact the ticket provider.

Gift cards can be bought through Ticketmaster and can be used on all events sold by Ticketmaster. Gift cards are valid for 1 year.

Are there medical staff at the arena?

Medical staff are present at every concert. At smaller events there are security with first aid education.

Is it possible to arrive at the arena with a wheelchair?

Concerts: To reserve wheelchair and companion seating, please contact Ticketmaster here. We have allocated separate parking spaces for wheelchair users in close proximity to the arena.

Exhibitions: Audience members with their own HC certificate are allowed to park at a designated area adjacent to the arena.
