The Send 2022
THE SEND TO TELENOR ARENA, JUNE 25TH, 2022
The Send is coming to Europe and Norway. On June 25th, 2022, thousands of young people will gather in Telenor Arena for a meeting lasting, twelve hours, from kl. 10am to 10pm.
On February 23rd, 2019, The Send gathered 50,000 people at a stadium in Orlando, Florida. Together with 250,000 participants online, they declared a struggle against indifference and passivity. First with their words - then with their actions. Each participant was challenged to engage in one of five "mission fields." On February 8th, 2020, The Send was held in Brazil, with an estimated 150,000 participants and well over a million participants online.
On June 25th , 2022 The Send will visit Norway and Telenor Arena.
The Send dreams of a generation of young Christians who go "all in" for Jesus by living their lives where faith and action go hand in hand. In an everyday life where many people experience insecurity, fear and pressure, The Send wants to stand together to mean a difference - a difference in schools, in neighborhoods, among people and for disadvantaged children.
The program in Telenor Arena will go non-stop, with a focus on various "mission fields" that will be presented throughout the day. Speakers will be a good mix of Norwegian, European and international people. There will be plenty of time for praise, blocks of teaching and preaching, prayer and time for personal surroundings.
The Send's wish is that the event in Telenor Arena will be more than just an event. With specific challenges in The Send app during the day, and good follow-up afterwards from The Send's Norwegian partner organizations, the day in Telenor Arena, June 25th, 2022 will create ripple effects for a long time to come in Norway and Europe.
