Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Depeche Mode announced today, during a special press conference in Berlin, that they are releasing a new album and embarking on a world tour in 2023. The tour follows their highly anticipated 15th studio album, " Memento Mori", which will be released in the spring.

Dave Gahan and Martin Gore announced today that the tour, presented by Live Nation, will begin with an exclusive number of arena dates in North America on March 23, 2023. The group will then head to Europe for their stadium tour this summer. The limited dates in America will include concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York, Chicago's United Center, the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and Toronto's Scotiabank Arena. In May, they kick off the European part at the well-known Stade de France in Paris, followed by cities such as Berlin, Milan, London and Oslo/Bærum in the Telenor Arena. Visit depechemode.com for complete tour listing.

Martin Gore says the following about "Memento Mori": "We started work on this project early in the pandemic, and its themes were directly inspired by that time. After Fletch's passing, we decided to continue as we're sure this is what he would have wanted, and that has really given the project an extra level of meaning.” Dave Gahan adds that “Fletch would have loved this album. We're really looking forward to sharing it with you soon, and we can't wait to present it to you live at the shows next year."

The 'Memento Mori Tour' will be Depeche Mode's 19th tour and their first in over five years! The band's 2017-2018 Global Spirit Tour was their longest to date and was one of the year's highest-grossing tours, playing 130 shows to more than 3 million fans in Europe and North America.

Having sold over 100 million records and played to more than 35 million fans worldwide, Depeche Mode continues to evolve and has a unique musical influence. An indelible inspiration to fans, critics and artists alike, Depeche Mode continue in full swing with their new album and grand tour, which represents the start of the latest chapter in an incomparable and enduring legacy.
