The world’s greatest metal band of all time playing in the Telenor Arena on May 2, and they are bringing the Norwegian band Kvelertak!

When Metallica released the album Hardwired … to Self-Destruct in November, it was eight years since the last studio album was released from the legendary quartet. The release was greeted with tumultuous applause from both critics, fans and record buyers, and on May 2nd, 2018 , Norwegian fans will finally see Metallica live once again.

Pre-sale of tickets is available for Legacy Met Club members from Tuesday March 21st at 10:00, while pre-sale to all Fifth Members starts on March 21st at 11:00. Regular on-sale starts Friday March 24th. Visit www.metallica.com for complete ticket information.

Each ticket purchased through official channels includes a digital or physical copy of Hardwired … to Self-Destruct. Information on how to redeem the ticket to an album is included in the confirmation mail for ticket purchase. If you have already bought the album, you have also received information about how to give Hardwired … to Self-Destruct as a gift. Please note that the costs of postage and packing come in addition if one chooses the physical edition of the album.

Transport

We strongly recommend using public transport to Telenor Arena. Bus #24, 28, 31, 31E, 36E, 707 and 733 will take you quickly to the arena. Visit www.ruter.no for schedule information.

Shuttle Buses:

Telenor Arena Shuttle Buses drive continuously to the arena as long as needed and return to Oslo after the event. Bus tickets can be purchased by vendors on site and cost NOK 100 return. Further information on departure times will be posted closer to the event.

Parking:

We highly recommend not driving to Telenor Arena as there can be long queues out of Fornebu after the event. If you must drive to the arena, there is a parking lot across the street. The parking fee is kr.200,- , which will be valid for the duration of the event.

Food and Drinks

During the concert you will be able to purchase snacks and drinks from our bars. You can buy beer, wine, soft drinks and a variety of candy as well as more substantial food like hot dogs and other menus. The bars are open throughout the concert.

Hotels

There are three large hotels in the immediate vicinity of Telenor Arena that offer a high standard of accommodation with reasonable prices.

Scandic Fornebu – 1,5 km from the arena with 334 rooms.

Radisson Blu Park Hotel – only 300 meters from the arena with 251 rooms.

Quality Hotel Expo – across the street from the arena with 301 rooms.
